By optimizing facility scheduling and streamlining access, we will ensure that more community teams and local groups can utilize these spaces effectively. Through strategic partnerships with schools and clubs, we will maximize resources to provide premium programming.Â
Downtown & Culture
We will transform downtown Abbotsford into a premier cultural destination by fostering a lively scene of local restaurants, bistros, and galleries. Our plan makes the core safer and more accessible through enhanced street lighting, improved parking, and inviting public squares. By championing our small businesses and arts organizations, we ensure an active, family-friendly environment that pulses with live music and community events from morning until night.
Business & Taxes
We are dedicated to building a thriving local economy by cutting through red tape and simplifying the process for entrepreneurs to open and expand small businesses in Abbotsford. Our vision ensures every neighbourhood is home to vibrant local shops and essential services that residents can rely on. By attracting stable, well-paying employers that align with our community's unique character, we will diversify and grow our commercial tax base. This strategic growth allows the City to provide better funding for our roads, public parks, and community services without increasing the financial burden on homeowners through higher property taxes.
